Welcome to Zach’s Friday Feature! As a PC building YouTuber and PC flipper, I have built and sold literally hundreds of gaming PCs and now I want to help Jawa users out by highlighting an awesome PC build every week and talk about it.
A brand new seller, PC Lab LLC has entered the chat and they are coming in with an absolute banger of a build this week. Featuring the i7 10700KF and RX 6650XT, this white, black, and beautiful build is a great combination of parts both aesthetically and in terms of price to performance. Let’s dive in!
- Storm Trooper Theme – Although the white and black Stormtrooper aesthetic isn’t the most unique idea in 2022, the execution on this design is flawless and it’ll look amazing on top of a desk. (Please don’t put a build like this on the floor!) With the Stormtrooper figure, the white/black extensions, and especially that super clean Hellhound Spectral White 6650XT, this is exactly what you should be striving for if you’re designing a build like this.
- RX 6650XT – Launched very recently in May of this year, the RX 6650XT is an excellent bang-for-your-buck graphics card and it can seriously crank up those FPS numbers in 1080p and 1440p. Averaging just below the performance of an RTX 3060Ti for significantly cheaper, along with these Spectral White aesthetics, this is one of my favorite graphics cards to use for white systems right now.
- Thoroughly Tested – Even though this is the first ever posting from PC Lab LLC, I absolutely love to see the veteran move of including multiple screenshots indicating that they successfully stress tested the components. They are using the recommended software for CPU, GPU, and even SSD testing, and all the tests show that they passed and are in working order.
Price to Performance Value:
Builds like this aren’t aimed at crushing price to performance numbers, the builder clearly spent extra money in the aesthetics department on this one and it’s a welcomed treat. With that said however, it’s still tough to find prebuilt PCs on the internet that can beat the value. This attempt at a white and black build is literally the best selling build like this on Amazon, and it’s rocking the slower RTX 3060, half the RAM, and nowhere near the aesthetics of our build today.
The only initial upgrade that I would highly recommend on this build is adding more storage. For a $1285 build, most people are going to want more than the 500GB Crucial P5 (great SSD by the way), and it would be very easy to add another 1TB NVMe drive in there or even bigger if you wanted to. The ASUS Prime Z590-A motherboard could handle an upgrade to a newer 11th gen Intel chip, but I don’t think that’s necessary as the 10700KF should be fine for almost everyone and overall this is already an incredibly balanced system.
Featuring yet another new seller on the platform, this Stormtrooper build is truly a treat to the Jawa platform and I hope someone snags this up soon. The aesthetics are 100% dialed in, the parts are thoroughly tested, and this gaming PC is simply waiting to go to a new home where someone will properly push it to its limit in some 1440p gaming action.
